Bachelor of Arts [B.A] [Greek and Latin Languages and Literature] From Saint Louis University

If you choose to major in Greek and Latin language and literature at SLU, you'll be exposed to a wide range of significant writers and philosophers and their works.

You'll also be encouraged to study abroad. Many Greek and Latin language and literature students at SLU choose to live and take Greek and Latin classes in Rome or other Mediterranean cities.

In addition to the experience you gain if you study abroad, you'll also have access to SLU's Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, the Vatican Film Library and the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies on campus, as well as SLU's Language Resource Center.

All students of Greek and Latin language and literature — whether majoring or minoring — are required to take 30 credit hours starting with LATN 2010 and GK 2010. The remaining 24 credit hours are from Greek and Latin upper-division courses with at least six of these credit hours in one language.
