The program offers a flexible plan of study - seven electives and four required courses allow each student to the opportunity to gain mastery of a core concepts, while also providing the flexibility to explore new areas of interest in advance of writing a qualifying paper.?

The students report that they find the quality of their education to be high, their colleagues to be diligent and focused, and the Twin Cities to be an engaged arts community. The students? contributions to the profession have been outstanding, and many have found positions as adjunct faculty, Ph.D. candidates, and curators.
