University of Texas, San Antonio offers programs across various levels to nearly 35,000 students across its four campuses. The university offers admissions for three academic terms, fall, spring and summer. Prospective students should have a certificate equivalent to a U.S High School diploma, a minimum GPA of 2.5 on 4.0 scale (~79-80%) for taking admission in the university. International applicants must meet the minimum English proficiency requirements to be eligible for admission. International students from an American-accredited high school in another country must submit SAT or ACT scores.

Students can fill the General Scholarship application which provides aids funded by the university and the donors. University Of Texas Admission Deadline

International students willing to study in USA study in the US are to submit the required documents before the university specified deadline to secure admissions to the desired programs. The deadlines for various semesters at the University of Texas are as follows and it does not accept applications beyond the deadline.

Admission requirements: The international students need to satisfy the following requirements in order to be admitted at The University of Texas.

  • The student must possess a degree equivalent to a U.S high school diploma and should have a minimum of 2.5 GPA on 4.0 scale

  • Transfer students should have at least 30 semester hours or else they would be considered as a freshmen candidate.

Modes of submission of transcripts:

  • Electronically: The School can send the official transcript to UTSA through TREx or SPEEDE. For the high school transcripts, TREx is preferred while, SPEEDE is preferred for the college transcripts.
  • If the school Is facing trouble sending the high school transcript online, the school counsellor can submit a copy at apply@utsa.edu.

Visa Application Process

International students can apply for a Student visa to study in the US right after they’ve been issued an acceptance letter from the university certified by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP). Overview:

I liked the program and my husband had a job in that city. So, those were the factors that led me to choose the university and program, I like nature and the environment, so I chose environmental science.

Scholarship:

I received a scholarship based on the research that I was doing.I got the scholarship from a fund dedicated towards anyone who conducts research on one of the creeks that I had to go for my research study.

Overview:

It was close to my hometown, and the campus was not overly big. I took a tour and immediately felt welcomed and not intimidated by the size or people on the campus. The university had all the amenities of a big city campus, without the busyness and noise.
