Master of Science [M.S] [Environmental Studies] From San Jose State University

Our department has been granting degrees and training environmental professionals for over 40 years. We offer three undergraduate degrees-a BS, a BA and a BA in preparation for teaching-and a Master of Science degree. Students experience hands-on learning, especially through our many field courses. Our majors gain leadership skills through the Center for Development of Recycling, the Environmental Resource Center and our internship program. We work hard to connect our students with careers and our graduates fill positions in sustainability fields including environmental impact assessment, habitat restoration, energy, water resources, environmental education, sustainable agriculture, park management, environmental regulation/policy, and integrated waste management and recycling.
