The program?s curriculum is divided into three areas of study: criminalization (the creation and enforcement of criminal law); criminality (the causes, correlates and amounts of crime); and corrections (the punishment and treatment of offenders). You?ll learn from instructors who have lived what they?re teaching ? experts with doctoral degrees who have worked as probation officers, criminal profilers and murder trial consultants. You?ll also put what you learn into practice: students may earn up to nine credits through internships in local, state or federal criminal justice agencies.
