The University of Missouri-St. Louis/Washington University Joint Undergraduate Engineering Program aspires to make positive, substantive and lasting contributions to the lives of our students. The nontraditional and traditional students in the civil, mechanical and electrical engineering programs often have work experience in or related to engineering practice. The program seeks to impart an education that inspires the graduates to constantly share their knowledge with others, to continually improve their knowledge and understanding, and to persistently adapt to change in technology and world needs. Graduates of the program are expected to develop and use professional skills that facilitate their continued career growth well beyond their graduation and should be able to apply their comprehensive education within the civil, mechanical and electrical engineering profession or a related field.
