All courses for the nursing program must be completed within a total of three consecutive calendar years.?All prelicensure nursing students are required to take two standardized exit examinations.
All students interested in pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree must enroll in Georgia Southern University as a pre-nursing major.?Formal admission to the nursing program occurs internally after the completion of 45 credits. Admission is highly selective. Please see our admissions policy for details.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all the previous education in English
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Submit scores of SAT or ACT exam
- Submit scores of English language proficiency
English Language Proficiency Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 69 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- SAT: minimum 480 in reading and writing
- ACT: minimum 17 in English or reading
