The goals of the Pharmaceutical and Chemical Sciences Program (PCSP) curriculum are:
- to prepare students for the challenges of both pure and applied research
- to advance knowledge in the specialization
- to encourage fundamental discovery in the chemical, pharmaceutical and health-care sciences
- to attain advanced degrees
Faculty from the departments of chemistry, pharmaceutics and medicinal chemistry, physiology and pharmacology, and pharmacy practice bring their research interest and expertise to the program.
Students are encouraged to combine the talents of the faculty into a unique, student-centered and interdisciplinary program that will meet their individual education goals.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have completed a bachelors degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Applicants must submit official transcripts with course by course evaluation from an accredited institution
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for admission consideration
- Submit an essay within 300 to 500 words describing your personal interest, academic objectives and plans for graduate study
- Submit three letters of recommendation
- GRE is required. The minimum combined score for Verbal and Quantitative sections is 303. The minimum Analytical score is 3.0
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 80 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5.
