The Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) degree is intended for students with undergraduate degrees in mechanical engineering or a closely related field, such as aerospace engineering. Students' undergraduate backgrounds should include mechanical engineering core courses in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, mechanics of materials, dynamics of mechanical systems, systems analysis, machine design, manufacturing, and design.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another closely related field. Including a high level of command and competency in Mechanical Engineering.
- It requires an overall undergraduate cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 for M.S. applicants. Ph.D. applicants are required to have an M.S. cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or better.
