Placement
It usually depends on majors but CS usually get placements before or in their final year.
Prestige.
Placement
There are a lot of successful students graduating from UW. As for my specific field, we are visited by the Seattle Opera, various local art museums, other schools, and big companies like Google or Amazon. I will not pretend to know statistics, but there's a reason UW is funding its computer science program so much.
Internship
There are many jobs available on campus for students. The most prevalent are food service jobs. Students can work in places ranging from dining halls, food trucks, catering services, grocery stores, coffee shops, to even full-service restaurants. These jobs are available through UWs housing and food service program. They have an online application process and are flexible with hours. There are similar jobs in libraries, front desks, and museums. For some jobs, you do not have to be a student.
Placement
The placement job opportunities are outstanding. This college is very highly renowned and it is very easy to get a job in your field. Most students are hired directly out of their internships, it is a growing field and very high in demand.
Internship
Yes, there is a required internship for the MD program. I haven't undertaken it, but I have heard that it is very long and rigorous. I am a bit apprehensive, but also excited. I know that it is necessary to do this in order to be well qualified for the job.
Placement
UW has a fairly comprehensive career advising center, so it's very helpful to have that. There are also frequent internship and career fairs held on campus where employers come and recruit students from campus for different positions that they have that are open.
Internship
Yes! They provide many and have multiple opportunities for students to apply for one or create their own through a service placement. I do not currently receive a stipend for my internship, which is unfortunate. However, I wish I did.
