The program at?Pacific Lutheran University?prepares an advanced generalist, who has the knowledge and skills required of all master?s-prepared nurses as determined by the AACN Essentials of Master?s Education in Nursing (2011). ?The MSN student may also choose an area of specialization.
Two areas of role specialization are available:
- Advanced Generalist
- Clinical Nurse Leader
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have a bachelors degree from an accredited university with 3.0 GPA
- Submit official transcripts from all previous institutions you have attended which should be translated in English
- Applicants must have 3.0 GPA in pre requisite course as follows: Statistics, human anatomy and physiology, developmental psychology, nutrition, intro to microbiology
- Submitting GRE score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test requirements
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 86
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
- PTE: minimum score of 56
- Duolingo: minimum score of 110
