Overview:
- This MBA program can be completed in only 7 quarters, with classes meeting one night a week and on two Saturdays per quarter, may be different for fall or summer classes
- The MBA degree at the Milgard School of Business is a comprehensive 64-credit graduate degree designed to provide experienced professionals and managers with new tools for responding to the challenges of change.
Curriculum:
- The core curriculum addresses key areas of business knowledge via the core courses, which focus on finance, accounting, marketing, operations, ethics, human behavior, and business strategy
- Beyond the core courses, students are required to complete 8-16 elective credits. The choice of electives will depend on the students' career and educational goals
- The curriculum develops graduates who will:
- Develop and articulate the organization's strategic direction
- Manage people, information, and processes to accomplish organizational goals and objectives
- Understand organizations as complex, interdependent systems operating in an ever-changing and uncertain environment
- Demonstrate an understanding of the social, political, economic, ethical, and environmental context of the organization
- Analyze and diagnose complex organizational problems, design effective solutions, and implement change
- Students have flexible elective options to customize their course of study or they may choose a concentration in either Business Analytics or Healthcare
Healthcare Concentration:
The core curriculum for the Healthcare Concentration is the same, but electives will vary. Students pursuing the MBA Healthcare Concentration are required to take a minimum of 8 credits that focus on issues in the healthcare field.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Prefer 3.0 grade-point average calculated from the applicant's final 90 graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits.
- For those not qualifying for a GMAT waiver competitive scores from the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT).University will accept scores from the GRE if it was completed in the last 5 years.
Specific Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of managerial and/or professional work experience:
- Management: Defined as direct responsibility for the assets of an organization; supervision of two or more people (e.g., manager, executive leader, team leader, group/project coordinator, etc.); special projects; processes; databases; budgets, etc.
- Professional: Requires professional expertise in business functions such as sales, accounting, human resources, finance, marketing, operations, etc. and/or technical functions such as engineering, research, logistics, computer programming, sciences, etc.
English Proficiency:
- Minimum: TOEFL iBT: 80, TOEFL MyBest: 80, Duolingo: 105
- Recommended: TOEFL iBT: 92, TOEFL MyBest: 92, Duolingo: 120

- GPA requirement:
- Prefer 3.0 grade-point average calculated from the applicant's final 90 graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits.
- Avg. Undergrad GPA: 3.17
- GMAT/GRE requirement:
- There are no minimum test scores
- Avg. GMAT score: 511
- The GMAT/GRE requirement is also waived for applicants who have previously completed a graduate degree from a *regionally accredited U.S. university with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.
