- The goal of the BSEE program is to provide a rigorous learning experience and collaborative environment for students in the major
- The degree is also responsive to regional needs and to engineering education reform, serving both traditional and nontraditional students by providing degree pathways for both freshman and transfer students

- The EE program is accredited by ABET, the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
