Students must meet the university wide standards for graduate admission requirements. All students must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited university and a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in upper-division and graduate work. Students with a strong background in the natural sciences, pharmacy, economics, mathematics, engineering, engineering technology or computer sciences may have the necessary core fundamental knowledge to complete the program of study leading to the Master of Science in environmental sciences.
The graduate studies committee comprised of graduate faculty and department administrators will be responsible for recommending acceptance into the program and for assigning advisors. Teaching assistantships, research assistantships, and tuition waivers are available; however students must make a separate request through application.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have a bachelors degree or masters degree from an accredited university
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in last 60 hours of undergraduate or 3.0 in graduate coursework
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education institution attended
- Submit GMAT/GRE scores
- Submit three letters of recommendation
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in iBT; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
