The School of Mathematical Sciences at Kean hosts the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC8, 10/12, AIME, USAMO) for elementary, middle school,and high school students, attracting students from across the region.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit high school transcripts and diploma with official english translation
- Applicants must have completed 16 college preparatory courses in following: 4 english, 3 mathematics, 2 history, 2 lab sciences, 2 years of foreign language, 3 approved electives in social sciences, mathematics or science
- Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation from teacher, counselor, employer or coach
- Submit a personal essay expressing educational and professional goals
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
