Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Following are the academic requirements of the program:
- Students must have a graduate or professional degree from a regionally accredited university.
- A 3.5 GPA for the final two years of undergraduate study or a 3.5 GPA for all master’s level academic coursework is required to take admission in this program.
- Students admitted into the program must complete general degree requirements to include core courses in criminology, research methods, statistics, and criminal justice.
- The Statement of purpose must include a student's background, goals, and reasons for pursuing their Ph.D. degree at the University of New Haven.
