The Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences (EAPS) Department has a low faculty-to-student ratio, which allows students to have a lot of one-on-one interaction with their professors. All undergraduates are encouraged to take part in research.
Careers in Environmental Geosciences
Graduates work in places such as NASA during planning of space missions or gas and oil companies locating and planning new fields. Students work as scientists, researchers, engineers, educators, environmental regulators, and with the government. In addition, many students go to graduate school for advanced study.
