Horticulture applies knowledge from many disciplines, including biology, chemistry, ecology, engineering, communications, business, and education to solve real world problems related to the production, marketing and management of landscape plants, flowers, fruits and vegetables.
In addition to their science-based landscape horticultural skills, students selecting landscape enterprise management, are prepared to become account managers in client relations, business managers, as well as supervisors for landscape installation projects and landscape management.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Self reported high school grades and official transcripts
- Self reoprted ACT or SAT scores
- Proof of english language proficiency
- Personal Essay and Purdue specific questions
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL IBT: 88 minimum or higher
- IELTS: 6.5 minimum or higher with 6.0 in each section
- Duolingo: minimum 110 or better
- SAT or ACT: minimum of 600 in Evidence Based Reading & Writing in SAT and 26 minimum in English section in ACT
