Additional information: Applicants who are from English-speaking countries having attended high school for four years where the medium of instruction was English may be exempt from the above requirements. US Student Visa for International Students

When applying for a visa to study in the USA, applicants will need an I-20 form from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. These forms will be issued once admission to the university has been completed. The processing of I-20 and DS-160 forms will take approximately 2-3 weeks.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute Graduate Admissions

WPI offers several graduate degrees in Business Administration, Information Technology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology. Students applying must have a general GPA of 3.0/4.0 (83%-86%) minimum.

Admission decisions take approximately six to eight weeks. Graduate admission applicants must not mail any documents to the institute. All submissions of documents are advised to be sent electronically. Paper documents mailed to the Institute’s office will be discarded.

The Institute follows a holistic approach to assessing applicants on the basis of academic credentials, recommendations, extracurricular participation, creativity, and team spirit. Ques. How can I inform the university if I am applying as a test-optional applicant or not?

Ans. Students who wish to apply with or without test scores must state their intention while filling the Common Application. Applicants who wish to submit their test scores must register for the tests before the deadline and self-report test scores during the application process.

Ques. After applying for Early Action can I switch to Early Decision at Worcester Polytechnic Institute?
