Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students have current secondary science teaching certification or department permission.
- An undergraduate major or minor in physical science (physics, earth science, chemistry, physical science, or integrated science).
- Basic coursework in physics, earth science, chemistry, and astronomy (totaling at least 30 undergraduate hours).
- Mathematics preparation through college algebra and trigonometry is mandatory.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Students need to have a minimum of first-class or upper Second with a minimum of 60% on an institutional basis.

- Resume/CV - This provides a summary of a student's experience and skills.
- Personal Statement – A personal statement of 1-2 pages explaining the purpose for pursuing the MSc degree at EMU
- Official Transcript – Submit official transcripts with both original and English translations of all university courses in which they have been enrolled.
- Two Letter of Recommendation - This shows who recommended the student to pursue the degree.
- Proof of Financial Support – Students have to submit the proof to determine that they have sufficient financial resources to cover their expenses while in the USA.
- Passport Copy – Provide a scanned copy of both sides that is legible and clearly shows their picture.
- English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE, etc.
