We have recently updated our engineering curriculum to better align with accreditation requirements. We recently completed our Program Self-Study to begin the accreditation process through?ABET.??

Our faculty participate actively in diverse fields of research including rocketry, geophysics, astrophysics, robotics, atomic and molecular physics, and aerodynamics. ?Faculty incorporate student research as an integral element of each project. In addition, our department encourages outreach and public education by providing public planetarium shows and volunteering in local schools. ?
