- The Department of Housing and Financial Planning, Housing and Consumer Economics (FHCE) offers graduate programs leading to the Master of Science, the Master of Science Non-Thesis and the Doctor of Philosophy degrees. The graduate program provides in-depth study in consumer economics, family financial planning, or housing within a broader, interdisciplinary context. Course work is centered in the department, but draws upon offerings from across the college and throughout the university. The interdisciplinary nature of the materials makes these related offerings essential.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Students must hold at least a baccalaureate degree accredited by the appropriate regional accrediting association or its international equivalent prior to the expected semester of enrollment, with the exception of University of Georgia undergraduate students enrolled in linked bachelors-masters programs.
- Minimum TOEFL score requirement: overall score of 80 with at least 20 on speaking and writing.
- Minimum IELTS score requirement: overall band-width of 6.5, with no single band (score) below 6.0.
