The degree requires successful completion of 120 semester hours, including: (1) the General Education Program which must include six hours of one modern language; (2) the mathematical prerequisite courses (6 hours) which may be partially or wholly waived with sufficient placement criteria; (3) the Core Requirements (33 hours) in mathematics and computer science listed below; (4) one of the four elective concentrations below (9 hours); and (5) seven additional hours of elective courses in mathematics, chosen from MATH 290 and above, excluding MATH 305 and MATH 414. Minimum 2.00 GPA required for major.
