- The MEng degree requires at least 25 total units of credit, a comprehensive exam, and a capstone report/presentation.
- The Bioengineering Final Capstone presentation will take place late in the Spring semester and will consist of a 20-minute minimum presentation on the Capstone project.
- If a student fails the presentation requirement, they will be given the option to give the presentation again the following Fall semester.
- Failure to pass the exam on this third attempt will constitute a failure of the comprehensive exam requirement for the MEng degree.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a bachelor's degree or the recognized equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Students hold a satisfactory scholastic average, usually a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B) on a 4.0 scale.
- Students have enough undergraduate training to do graduate work in their chosen field.
- The submission of GRE scores is not compulsory for this program.
English Language proficiency:
- All students from countries or political entities in which the official language is not English are required to submit official evidence of English language proficiency.
- This applies to students from Bangladesh, Burma, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Latin America, the Middle East, the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, most European countries, and Quebec (Canada).
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
