Kerala University MBA Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed the degree from any Indian University, under the regular stream, recognized by the University of Kerala and shall be in the 10+2+3 pattern (or in 10+2+4 pattern).
In all the cases the student should have passed the degree examination with not less than 50% marks/equivalent grade (no rounding off allowed) in Part III /core plus complimentary in BA, B.Sc, B.Com etc., or 50% marks/equivalent grade (no rounding off allowed) in aggregate in case of BE / B.Tech, B.Sc (Agri.) and other 4/5 year degree courses.
The candidates, who have passed MA / M.Sc / M.Com or any other PG Degree recognized by the University of Kerala with 50% of marks/equivalent grade in aggregate, are also eligible for admission.
SC/ST and SEBC candidates shall be given relaxation as per University rules.

Kerala University MBA Selection Criteria

The candidates should possess a valid score from any one of the entrance examinations conducted by KMAT, CMAT or CAT.
All registered candidates who have provided valid scorecard will be invited through SMS/email to participate in the Group Discussion and Interview to be held at IMK, University of Kerala, Kariyavattom campus.

Visit the official website of the Kerala University, and read all the admission related documents carefully.
Visit the admissions section, and click on the preferred course application.
Register, and login to the portal.
Fill-in the required info, photograph, signature, and upload the relevant documents (if required).
Submit the application, and pay the application fee.
If applying to M.Tech, or MBA through GATE, CAT, KMAT, or CMAT, upload the exam details and score obtained.
For other PG courses, candidates need to appear for the Entrance Exam, conducted by the University.

Documents Required For Admission

Reporting at the University Department, Candidates need to report with the following documents in original, and photocopy:

The Admission call letter.
Score card of Entrance Exams
Receipt of University fee remitted in the bank.
Certificate to prove date of birth.
Transfer Certificate (TC) from the Institution last attended and Conduct Certificate.
Marksheets of the Degree examination and Provisional / Degree Certificate.
Work experience certificates (if any).
Eligibility Certificate from University of Kerala, in case of candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from other Universities.
Migration Certificate in case of candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from other Universities.
Category Certificates (if applicable).

Kerala University Seat Reservation

The seats for each programme in the University Departments will be distributed as follows:

The University also has Special Reservation for Foreign, Non-Kerala, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Sponsored Candidates and Sports Persons. For each PG programme, there shall be supernumerary seats for:

One candidate who is in the rank list and who is not a native of Kerala, in case no such student has secured admission in the programme in the concerned year through the rank list.
One foreign candidate eligible as per relevant regulations for foreign students.
Arts Quota: Students who have won the titles of ‘Kalathilakam’ or ‘Kalaprathibha’ in University Youth Festivals in their Bachelor's Programme, in any programme of their choice provided that he/she is eligible for admission to that programme.
One Sponsored candidate from Govt. / R&D Institutions / Industries, with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
Persons with Disabilities (PWD): One student with a disability of 40% or above when the sanctioned seats are below 25 and two students, if the sanctioned seats are above 25.
Sports Quota: One seat shall be given for sports persons over and above the sanctioned strength in each subject for the First Post Graduate Degree Programme.

Ques. How are the internship and placement opportunities at Kerala University?

Ans. The institute has a full-fledged final placement cell which is dedicated to placing every student in the leading companies. Ques. How is the college infrastructure and hostel facilities at Kerala University?

Ans. The facilities include Wi-Fi, classroom and library. There are 3 canteens and a very good playground where students play football and cricket. The Wi-Fi availability, and computer lab facility on the campus is very good. The library facilities are average. The classrooms have the presence of smart classes.
