American College is a registered training organisation accredited by the Australian Qualifications Framework(AQF) and the Australian Skills Quality Authority(ASQA). It offers vocational training that includes certificates and diplomas in disciplines of Hospitality, Management, Business, and Automotive to international students planning to study in Australia. American College follows a rolling admission policy and invites admissions throughout the year. Candidates can apply through American College Printable Application Form along with paying an application fee of 395 AUD.

International students seeking admission must be over 18 years of age, have minimum academic requirements equivalent to an Australian year 10 and an IELTS 5.5 or equivalent TOEFL scores as English Language proficiency. Apart from these requirements, the College also asks students to complete an LLN test at the time of enrolment. The average tuition fee of the courses is around 4,990 AUD to 13,990 AUD. The college does not offer any financial aid to international students. American College Diploma Courses Admission

American College accepts international students who have the prescribed English proficiency scores. Submission of SAT/ACT scores is not required. However, all international students seeking admission to American College must be over 18 years of age and have an educational qualification equivalent to Year 10.

Visa Process for International Students

Students who wish to study a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Certificate course from the American College must have an Australian Subclass 500 student visa. The visa application must be made at a local embassy of Australia, Consulate or High Commission situated in their homeland after admission has been confirmed by the university and the Confirmation of Enrollment (COE) e-letter has been granted. Before going to make an application, students must ensure that they are enrolled in a full-time program and have an Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

If applicants have an immediate family member residing in Australia, they just apply for the Subclass 600 Visitor Visa.
