Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
To be considered for entry, the student must have completed:
- An undergraduate degree with a major in a relevant discipline (computer science, data science, or statistics) with a weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 65 percent, and
- 12.5 points (one subject) of university-level computer science (or equivalent) with content focused on computer programming, and
- Both the following subjects (or their equivalents):
- Calculus 2
- Linear Algebra.
- GPA Of 4 on a 4 scale.
Work Experience Eligibility:
- Students do not require any kind of work experience for this particular program.
- If students have any work experience then the chances of accepting the applications are more.
Others:
- If a student does not have a major in computer science and/or statistics, then he/she can explore the Graduate Diploma in Data Science as a starting point in this field.
- When the student completes the Graduate Diploma in Data Science with a weighted average mark of above 65 percent, he/she may be eligible to move into the Master of Data Science and receive up to 50 points of advanced standing.
Submission of GRE scores is not compulsory for this program, however, it is recommended to submit a minimum GRE-300 for better a chance of admission.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
