Research opportunities are excellent, placements are little bit difficult for international students.

NA
Placement
The course that I am doing is more relevant to people who are looking to complete or pursue CA or CPA as per the Accounting is concerned. If you want to go to Finance field, then it is good. Even as the brochure mentions, 70% of the CFM material is covered in the 2 year study material given over here. If you complete the Accounting part of it, you are given exemption of first class or something in CPA. The recruitment process is very different from India. There is no campus placement as such. You have to approach the companies to get a job. So, you can go through job portals like Indeed, Seek, etc. or networking. Companies do come telling about vacancies that they have.
Internship
There are a lot of opportunities provided by the university and we could apply outside also.
Placement

Placement
Students need to apply to companies on their own . The university has a portal which allows them to access the job opportunities that have been registered under them.
The UoM has a high research output and is ranked 32 all over the world. It has a great academic and employment reputation. Moreover the structure of the course I selected seemed to meet my interest as well. To add to this Australia is a beautiful country to travel in as well and Melbourne ranks in the world's top 10 most livable cities.
Placement
Since the population of Australia's is so low employment remains high all time and we are better off graduating from university of Melbourne .
I choose this university because of the scholarship it was providing for its Year 1 studies.
Placement
There are definitely opportunities, the university has a dedicated career advisory office that specializes in this exact thing. Students can make appointments with them and talk with them in great detail about what it is that they want to do after their studies. The University provides excellent services in that regard. The University of Melbourne is also ranked #7 in Graduate employability worldwide so getting a job post-study should not be very difficult as long as one is proactive in the job application and applies through the right channels (makes connections, actively seeks recruiters, etc).
Internship
I have not yet opted for any internship in the co-op. I've been busy getting settled into University life in a different country.
Placement
The University provides a number of opportunities to network and make your way through different companies. I am a part of Melbourne University Consulting Club, where in, I have hosted a number of workshops with some of the major consulting firms like AT Kearny, EY, Accenture and others. We get to network with them and build our relationships so that we can later ask for any vacancies. In addition, there are a number of employability workshops that take place where a number of companies are invited to the campus and students are encouraged to drop-in their resumes in order to be considered for the roles.
When I was thinking of choosing my University I had in my mind that, The University of Melbourne is Australia’s number one University and comes in the global ranking of the best universities in the world and is recognised as the best in the world for business and management programs. It has world class infrastructure with libraries, computers, internet and research base that will help me in creating the kind of future I want for myself. It will provide me with in depth knowledge about HR and help me grow more in this field.
Placement
They are a lot of internship and placements provided by the university. Students also look for such placements independently.
It is ranked highly in the world for commerce and mainly economics. It is in the top 15 for accounting and finance.
Placement
One needs to fend for themselves and network. LinkedIn is the best place to start. Challenging for international students. Try to get into volunteer work inside and outside University to expand your network.
Internship
No, I did not as it was not a great option during the pandemic I opted for an applied syndicate project, where a team of students from the course could with a real-life client.
Placement
There are many opportunities however it is pretty competitive and the uni doesn't offer any internship experience within the bcom degree which would be more useful and more targeted towards the career path we want to head towards to.
Top university in Australia , ranked high for commerce degree
