I got one year advanced standing for my diploma and this is the only uni that gave me all the 8 units. To apply there was no fee as some other units charged $100. Comparatively low fees as well. I also offered the program I needed. Eg: Electrical Power rather than just Electrical. Furthermore, my cousin's sister studied in this uni.
Course Curriculum :
Only two females studying Electrical Engineering in my batch. The teaching method is acceptable but could be better. Labs are perfect. Additional tutorials are available.
Exams :
Diploma of Engineering and IELTS were done before applying. Furthermore, Cambridge international ordinary and Cambridge inter-nation Advanced level exams were completed before doing the Engineering diploma. I was granted 120 credits toward my degree from the Engineering diploma. This is equal to one year in uni.
Internship :
I currently work in the industry but this was not given to me by the university. It matches with my uni work and I also engage in site visits. This helps me to complete my 12 weeks of industrial work required to graduate.
Fees :
The fee structure is changing every year. I would like to say that when I joined the fees were high therefore, I pay around $13,000 per semester. Nowadays, they offer 20% of scholarships for every student per semester which makes many students join this university. However, I was told that because I joined early I'm not eligible.
Hostel :
I have always lived in university accommodation. However, I do not recommend anyone living there unless they are very concerned about how far uni is. The only reason I lived there was it was closed to uni.
