I went to college because of instant entryway into law. Other universities you had to do an undergrad to get in, but for this one, you didn't. It also had great reviews and a great city campus for the law students.
Course Curriculum
Very good. An extensive study on particular law areas. They also have trimesters which streamline the study process. However, more focus should have been on real-world application of law instead of law areas to better prepare us for law firms.
Exams
Undertook the WACE exam and got an ATAR of 90.5 Bo University level exam was required. You had to take a minimum of 4 exams on subjects you had selected.
Fees
There is HECs help which is government funded help with fees which I applied for and is paid back once you start earning a certain amount.
Examination Structure
The exam structure in my courses varies from 2 to 3 hours. It would be an open book with four to six questions for essay answers requiring extensive knowledge of the course materials. Some would be problem-solving and others would be analytical.
Faculty
The faculty is very good. Provided with a lot of educated and tutors who had been with law firms for several years before teaching. It can be a little harsh.
