- The Master of Mechanical Engineering (Professional) delves further into one of the broadest areas of engineering. It covers:
- dynamics and control
- thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
- solid mechanics and design
- manufacture and materials science.
- The Core of mechanical engineering is the ability to formulate a problem, identify potential solutions, analyze and model solutions and select the most appropriate solution within constraints. This approach is integrated into the program and is applicable across a range of professions, making students well-prepared for a changing world.
- Mechanical engineers are employed in diverse industries, including:
- road and rail transport
