The Course Curriculum and Academics are excellent. The syllabus is very relevant and gets our foot into the door of our chosen field. However, there is some level of individual effort required to learn what is currently Industry standard as the University does standardize its course a bit. However, all tools used and taught like Matlab, etc. are taught using up-to-date versions.
The yearly tuition fee for my program is approximately 45000 AUD and the total tuition fee for a standard 3-year degree is 170000 AUD.
Master of Environment has a broad range of specialisation which benefits you if you have interests across enviornmental sector while it could confuses someone if you want something more narrowed down specialisation but you always have a room to make a choice later with the help of coordinators.
The reputition within Australia. Options to choose a specialisation among many. Having many climate change related subjects definitely helped.
The course curriculum is excellent and academics are at par with the ranking of the University. However, most of the work is expected to be done by students unlike our counter parts in india.
I always wanted to study in one of the top university in the world and Unvirsity of Melbourne ticked all my boxes.
Some subjects were very good, course is practical and aligned with industry. Several industry speaker sessions were held
It is rated very high in Victoria, scholarship offer, course fee was lower than other similar course in other university
Course syllabus relevant. Industry exposure provided through capstone subject
82,000 AUD
Overall i liked to design of the curricula but was not upto my expectations. I felt specialisation in structural discipline is not properly designed as even the core subjects have been pushed to as core electives. We have a year capstone project during final 2 semesters
