Animal Science is concerned with the science and business of producing domestic livestock species, including but not limited to beef cattle, dairy cattle, horses, poultry, sheep, and swine. In addition, animal science is concerned with aspects of companion animals, including their nutrition, care, and welfare.
Bachelor of Animal Science programs often produce students who are methodical thinkers as well as capable of ethically managing agricultural business and maintaining livestock health. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students are required to have successful completion of two university-level subjects (AQF level Associate Degree or higher) demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies.
- Upon successful completion of high school, students will then be eligible for admission to the Undergraduate and receive credit for applicable subjects.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
Indian Eligibility:
- Students need to have a minimum of a first-class or upper second with a minimum of 65% on an institutional basis in a high school.
- Or, students completed a completed AQF Certificate III or higher-level qualification.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
