The application deadline for semester 1 is 15 January.

This degree will provide the students :

  • This double degree provides a direct pathway from the Bachelor of Science to the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • To complete both degrees, students need to complete a total of 240 cp.
  • students  will complete their first 144 cp while undertaking a Nutrition Program within the Bachelor of Science. While undertaking the Bachelor of Science, they will also complete mathematics degree core units (12 cp), Open Learning Environment Units (12 cp), electives (12 cp – 24 cp), and either a second major or a minor.
  • Students then complete your final 96 cp while enrolled in the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Students can complete the Bachelor of Science either on a full time basis over three years, or part time over six years. However, they must be enrolled on full time basis while undertaking the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), or approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.
  • In this program, admission is also based on the total score for the completed diploma.
  • Mathematics or HSC Mathematics Extension

Language Requirements:

  • International students from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTEor any equivalent test.

Indian Student Eligibility:

  • CBSE: The student must have all India Senior School Certificates awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). A total of the best four externally examined subjects are considered. 18.5 score is required.
  • Indian School Certificate: The student must have an Indian School Certificate awarded by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). The required score is the average of the best four subjects, including English. 96% or more is required.
  • Indian HSSC: The student must have an average of the best five academic subjects in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal. The requirement is higher for other states. 95% or more is required. 
  • Mathematics or HSC Mathematics Extension
