About this course:
To meet the requirements for a Business Information Systems major, you must complete 48 credit points in units of study, as follows:
(1) two 1000-level core units of study (12 credit points):
- Digital Business Innovation
- Working in Digital Ecosystems
(2) three 2000-level selective units of study (18 credit points), selected from the following options:
- Data Governance and Technology Assurance
- Digital Business Management
- Managing Information in Organisations
- Working in High-Performing Project Teams
(3) one 3000-level core unit of study (6 credit points):
- Business Information Systems in Practice
(4) two 3000-level selective units of study (12 credit points), selected from the following options:
- Business Intelligence for Managers
- Business Process Analysis and Design
- Enterprise Systems and Integrated Business
- Implementing Agile Design
- Industry and Community Project

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), or approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.
- In this program, admission is also based on the total score for the completed diploma.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- CBSE: The student must have all India Senior School Certificates awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). A total of the best four externally examined subjects are considered. 18.5 score is required.
- Indian School Certificate: The student must have an Indian School Certificate awarded by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). The required score is the average of the best four subjects, including English. 96% or more is required.
- Indian HSSC: The student must have an average of the best five academic subjects in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal. The requirement is higher for other states. 95% or more is required.

- Management consultant: join a major consulting firm such as Deloitte Consulting, Bain & Co., McKinsey, PwC or KPMG as an external analyst working on business and technology related issues.
- Compliance/IT auditor: evaluate the suitability and effectiveness of your firm's IT systems and internal controls against policies and regulations. Work on projects that improve the organisations’ internal processes and performance.
- Enterprise architect: a senior role in which you will be part of a team that translates business strategy into concrete solutions and designs and executes the blueprint of IT solutions to support that strategy.
