The school offers admissions into 12 academic programs including the undergraduate B. Com programs and 4 executive development programs. Admission to Desautels Faculty of Management is considered selective as the school reports an acceptance rate of 30% to 35% (in past few years).
The strict admissions policy is also represented through high academic expectations from applicants. Desautels Faculty of Management Admission Deadlines
Desautels Faculty of Management has different deadlines for different programs. In case a deadline falls on a weekend/ holiday, the effective deadline will be the next working day. Canada Student Visa Process
International applicants need to apply for a student visa to study in Canada. They can apply for a visa at the nearest Canadian Embassy as soon as they are accepted into their program of choice at Desautels Faculty of Management. International students who intend to study in Canada at Desautels Faculty of Management need to apply for a Canadian study permit and a student visa from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The process of getting a study permit can be completed only after the applicant has received an admission letter from the college. The documents required for a study permit include:
- Acceptance Letter from the college
- Proof of Funds- bank statements, letters of support, etc. are required as proof for the availability of finances to cover the tuition fees and the cost of living in Canada that an international student will have to incur.
- A valid passport
- Medical Examination

Desautels Faculty of Management offers the highly competitive undergraduate degree program B. Com to eligible candidates. The program is packaged with a range of Majors and Concentrations to choose from. Students can also opt to pursue an Honors program. Over 50% of the student population in the B.Com program is international. You can apply through an online application portal with an application fee of C$122.52. Discussed below are the requirements you need to fulfill:
- Applicants must have qualified high school or senior secondary qualifications. Desautels does not recognize Applied Studies programs or vocational/ technical programs for admission.
- Academic Transcripts need to be submitted. Applicants are reviewed on their high school records, particularly yearly averages and scores in prerequisite subjects studied in the last two years of high school. The minimum academic score required is a B+ average.
