Aishat Review at Trent University, Peterborough | Collegedunia

Trent University through Aisha's eyes

A
6.7 /10

When I was deciding on my University choice I took a lot of factors into perspective. I have always been one to like small towns and drama-less places and Peterborough ON offered me both. Trent University is known for its beautiful environment and scenery and was very important in my decision.

Course Curriculum :

I personally love a large number of curriculums at Trent. I am a Business Administration student because I love everything with business. I am specializing in Accounting and I have loved every moment of it.

Exams :

I took the IGCSE exam and came out with 8A*, 2A and a B. I took the OSSLT exam which is an Ontario English proficiency test and I ended with 82%. I took a University exam when I finished high school and I finished with 86%.

Internship :

My college provides internships but I haven't taken any yet but I'm planning on taken one during my next semester at Trent. I am currently in my 2nd year at Trent so At the moment I'm not allowed to do internships yet.

Fees :

As international student fees are very expensive and with the new Osap costs it?s only going to get more expensive.

Examination Structure :

Exams at Trent are very unnecessary and I don't find the need for it. I like to look at things I do at university looking at it with the real world eye. In the real world, no one is going to give me time to do a test when I'm working.

Faculty :

The faculty at my college is really good. They offer a large number of services like academic skills and academic advising. Academic skills are basically for help with academic activities like citations and proofreading and academic advising is to help in course selections.
