For its name, because Ryerson is a well-known school around Toronto. Also for the program, I'm applying to, which is business management. Also, Ryerson is in the heart of downtown where all these big firms are, so we are well exposed to that.
Course Curriculum
It's not bad, there are some required courses we have to take but I feel like some are pointless, like for the degree. However, there are some courses that I find useful that we aren't required to take.
Internship
Yes, my school offers co-op but I haven't applied for co-op yet. I'm going to be applying at the end of this year but from what I've heard, Ryerson has a great co-op program with great placements. I'm going to be applying for marketing placements.
Fees
Tuition is based on how many courses you're taking. If you're taking less than 4 courses it's one rate. And in you're taking over 5 courses it's another rate. My avg tuition is around 5 to 6 grand.
Examination Structure
The exam structure varies from class to class. Some classes don't have exams, while most do have exams. There are midterms and finals for most courses and finals are written along with other students taking the class.
Faculty
The profs here are great and understanding for the most part.
