The Kwantlen Polytechnic University enrolls more than 20,000 students annually and educated more than 200, 000 students to date. Kwantlen Polytechnic offers a wide range of programs which includes degree, diploma, and citation programs. Students from across the globe come to Kwantlen Polytechnic University every year. Kwantlen Polytechnic University is the only Polytechnic College of Canada. The university accepts applications for two types of intake sessions: Open and Limited. Students can apply for the admission process in Fall, Spring, and Summer by applying through four types of applicants: High School, Mature, Transfer, Aboriginal.

The application fees for domestic and international applicants vary. It is 40 CAD for domestic applicants and 120 USD for international applicants. Students must submit scores of English language proficiency tests like IELTS and TOEFL.

The Kwantlen Polytechnic University accepts Applications in the Fall, Spring, and Summer. The Application opens at 12 AM and closes at 11:59 PM Pacific Time during the intake season. The University has different deadlines for Citizens of Canada and International Students.

The University offers more than 120 programs to the students to choose from. International applicants can apply for any of the two intake types: open or limited. Those who want to apply for graduate admission and do not meet the english Proficiency requirement can still get admission through the KPU pathway program. Applicants must apply for a study permit on time to study in Canada.

Canada Visa for International Students

The University doesn’t provide a study permit, so you have to apply through the IRCC portal.

  • While applying for the study permit you would require the following documents:
  • Proof of Acceptance: you will receive the letter of acceptance from the University itself
  • Proof of Identity: A copy of your Passport or National identity Proof.
  • Photograph: Two recent Passport size photo

Kwantlen Polytechnic University Graduate Admissions

The University offers only two graduate degrees through the School of Business. The two Graduate Diploma Courses and begin with an online application and fee of $120 CAD. The detailed requirements for both programs is tabulated below.

After successful submission of the application, the applicants receive the Next Step Letter from the college within 5-7 business days. The University sends an Acceptance package to the applicants after which they need to apply for a study permit through the IRCC Portal. Candidates can apply through the KPU application portal. It takes more than 15 days to process the application.
