Goa Medical College MBBS Admission 2023
Goa Medical College and Hospital offers MBBS course for the duration of 5 and half year. Candidates applying for admission must have passed HSC or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology and English as main subjects with minimum 50% marks. Applicants must have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 31 of the admission year.
Admissions are granted on the basis of NEET entrance exam. However, counselling is carried by DTE, Goa.

Selection is done on the basis of candidates’ performance in GCET conducted by DTE, Goa. GCET consists of 3 papers each of 2 hours for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each paper has 75 questions.

Key Points:
- Candidates who have completed their internship after March 31 or likely to complete after are not eligible to apply for NEET PG.
- 50% of the total seats are filled on all India basis; rest of the seats are available under state quota.
Goa Medical College Reservation Criteria
- Only those candidates who have passed 10+2 from Goa and are resident of Goa for a continuous period of ten years (5 years for those whose parents/ grandparents are born in Goa) are considered in General category.
- The candidates of Goa who have passed HSC from any other state should have been residing for at least ten years in Goa.
- In each discipline, maximum 5% of the total seats are reserved under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFW). The candidates whose parents’ annual income is not more than INR 6, 00,000 are eligible for TFW scheme.

Goa Medical College Application Process 2023
Candidates can apply online by following the given steps:
- Download application form (Form A- for GCET, Form B for Allied Courses and Form B2 for MBBS) from the official website of the college.
- Fill the application form with all the desired details.
- Submit the application form along with the necessary documents.
- Application fee of INR 1800 is required to be submitted through DD drawn in favor of DTE payable at Panaji, Goa.
- After fee submission, the candidates will get an acknowledgment card.
Documents required to be enclosed along with the application form:
- Two recent passport size photographs
- Copies of HSC and SSC mark sheet
- A copy of entrance exam and its admit card. (If applicable)
- Transfer Certificate and Income Certificate (if applicable)
