The Department of Cardiology offers a comprehensive four-year course comprising three years of academic study followed by a mandatory one-year full-time rotatory internship. The department is organized into three cardiology units, each staffed with one Professor and two Assistant/Associate Professors, alongside four DM Cardiology Post Graduate Residents who contribute to teaching. The internship provides hands-on experience and involves day, night, and on-call duty shifts, with interns working three nights followed by a day off. Interns receive 20 casual leave days during this period. The annual fees are structured as follows: 1st Year - 20,870, 2nd Year - 21,870, 3rd Year - 21,870, and 4th Year - 18,870. Students eligible for the E grants Scholarship, excluding those whose parents are government employees, qualify for a refund of the fees paid.
