Ramaiah Medical College offers MBBS and BPT courses of 4.5 years duration each plus one year of compulsory rotating internship for MBBS and 6 months of compulsory rotating internship for BPT.
To be eligible for MBBS course, candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with 50% aggregate marks in PCB along with English as a subject. For BPT program, candidates should have obtained 50% marks in the 10+2 Examination along with PCB as compulsory subjects.
For admission to MBBS program, all seats are allocated based on rank in NEET (UG) examination and centralized counselling. For BPT program, candidates are selected based on merit in the qualifying examination.

Ramaiah Medical College offers full time/ part time Ph.D. Program in five disciplines. To be eligible for Ph.D. program, candidates should have passed MD/M.Sc. degree. MSc candidates should have 55% marks in the respective subject. For Ph.D. in Physiotherapy, candidates should have MPT Degree.
For admission to Ph.D. courses, candidates can apply twice a year to the Registrar, RGUHS, in April-May and October-November. After passing the criteria, candidates have to appear for an interview and make a presentation of Ph.D. protocol with/without their guide before the committee. Selected candidates will be referred to the Vice-chancellor for provisional registration.
