PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research was established in the year 1985 by P.S Govindaswamy Naidu & Son’s Charities. The college is recognized by Medical Council of India, General Medical Council of UK and Srilankan Medical Council. PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research offers MBBS program at the UG level and MD and MS courses at PG level. The college also offers Diploma courses and super- speciality programs at the PG level. 

• Admission to MBBS course will be granted based on a valid score obtained in NEET UG.
• Admission to MD and MS courses will be offered based on NEET PG.
• It is the first teaching hospital in Tamil Nadu and the third teaching hospital in India to get NABH accreditation
