- My college is under Visvesvaraya Technological University, which is one of the best universities in India.
- The college internship was good. Triveni Industries was one of the companies that came to the college to offer an internship to the students.
- Placement is very good in our college. Companies like TCS, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, NTT DATA, IGATE, AMAZON, L&T INFOTECH, ARICENT, E EXCELL, TRIVANI TURBINES, and SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, among others, recruited around 500 students during 2014-15.
Dislikes
- As the IT industry was sliding down, only a few companies, around 5 or 6, were emerging. These companies include recruiters such as TCS, HCL, and TechMetC.
- It was really bad. Courses are bad because they have the oldest syllabus, and it is of no use.

Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology (AIT), Chikmagalur was established in 1980 under Adhichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust. The institute is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. It is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute. The objective of the institute is committed to quality education, training & research providing quality technical education, and molding the younger generation with the spirit of service to society. The institute is located in the famous Chickmagalur city which is 240 km from Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka, and well connected by bus routes to all the major cities and towns of the state. The nearest railway station is at Kadur (or Birur) on the Bangalore - Bombay broad gauge line, which is 35 km away.
