Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering) From Agni College of Technology, Chennai

Application form should be filled by the applicant after buying the prospectus from the Administrative Office of the College on cash or DD payment of INR 300. 

In case the applicant requires the application and prospectus by post, they must send a DD drawn in favour of Agni College of Technology of INR 350 to be payable at Chennai.

Documents Required

Along with the application form, the following documents must be attached:

• Original mark sheet of the qualifying examinations.
• Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate issued by the institution last studied.
• Community certificate in case of BC/MBC/SC/ST.
• Eligibility certificate from Anna University for those students from outside Tamil Nadu.
• 5 passport-sized photographs.
• SSLC mark sheet as proof for the applicant’s date of birth.

(10+2) or Equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology, Language and anyother subject. He/She should have scored a minimum of 45% marks. All reserved category students have a 5% relaxation in minimum aggregate.

Admissions to B.E and B.Tech programs are through TNEA counseling based on which a merit list is made by Anna University for Agni College of Technology, to offer admission to students.

Agni College of Technology Admission Eligibility

Admissions are offered according to the rules prescribed by Anna University. They are as follows:

• For H.Sc, academic, vocational and diploma holders (for lateral entry) the average of total marks in PCM should be a minimum of 50% for OC, 45% for BC and 40% for MBC.
• In the case of improvement, only two attempts will be considered. 
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST, a mere pass in the qualifying examinations will be acceptable. 
• There is no age limit for admission.

TNEA Application Process

Eligible students can apply for TNEA by following the given steps for registration, with a fee of INR 500 (for general category) and INR 250 (for reserved category):

• Visit the official website of TNEA and click on the “Online Registration” link.
• Candidates need to first register by creating a login ID and password through an OTP verification. 
• After the registration, candidates can log in with their username and password.
• Candidates will have to fill in personal details, academic qualifications, etc.
• After filling the application form online, candidates can preview the details entered.
• The application form should be submitted along with the fee and a printout should be taken.
