Guru Nanak Khalsa College of Arts, Science & Commerce, also known as G.N. Khalsa College was established in 1937 in Mumbai. It is an active research institute that is recognized by SIRO (Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation). The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and has been granted autonomous status by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

At present, Khalsa College is offering 24 UG, 24 PG, and 7 Ph.D. courses in the field of Arts, Science, and Commerce. In addition, the also offers 27 certificates/diploma courses. Admissions to all the UG and PG courses are done on the basis of merit as per the Mumbai university guidelines. Khalsa College Mumbai Admissions

G.N. Khalsa college conducts its admissions based on the merit obtained by the students in the qualifying examination for UG and PG courses. Admissions to the Doctoral Courses is based on an entrance examination. The entire admission process is online and is common for UG, PG, and Ph.D.

How to apply?

Visit the official college website and click on “Online Admissions” in the Admission Menu Tab.
Fill the online application form carefully along with the mandatory pre-admission form and take a printout of both the forms.
The merit list will be announced on the college website. The selected students have to visit the campus with the following documents along with the admission forms:

- XII Leaving Certificate in original
- Application form.

Khalsa College Mumbai Facilities

The facilities provided by the college include:

Sports ground and Gymkhana: The College has a big ground which comprises a Volleyball court, a Kabaddi ground, an arena for throwing sports, a cricket net practice area. The college also has a gymkhana which has all the gymnasium facilities as well as areas for indoor sports such as table tennis, chess, carrom, etc.
Library: The library can accommodate 350 students at a time. It has over 65,000 books in the Senior College section. It also consists of e-resources, where the students can search for books, journals, periodicals, e-books, through WEB OPAC, Nlist, EPW Archive, NISCAIR Journals Online Repository, Digital Library of India, EPG Pathshala, CEC, etc.
Gurudwara: The college has an inhouse gurudwara where a lot of Sikh festivals are celebrated throughout the year.
Research facilities: The college has a dedicated research wing which is called the Guru Nanak Institute of Research and Development (GNIRD) that was established in 2005. The research wing is recognized by SIRO. This wing focusses on different areas of research study such as molecular biology, bioinformatics, chemistry, and many others. Several postgraduate courses and Ph.D. courses are designed around this department.

What Students Say?

The course and curriculum here are the best that anyone can get. The high-quality structure gives a college-like feel. The research-driven approach is also commendable. The fairs and festivals are the best. In terms of professionalism, it is simply the best.
Companies like Airtel, Jio, and Wipro offer internship roles such as web developer. I was given the project to develop a college website by my college, and I did my best. After completing the internship, you can expect a good package.
Placements are good in computer science companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc. Companies come for placements, and the college also provides internships of about 45 days. I got an internship this year for a stipend of 1000 rupees.
There are many scholarships that the college provides to students but cannot provide them to all deserving students, and in this field the college should work more. And yes, students do get scholarships from the college.
Great activities take place in the form of games, skits in classrooms, presentations, and drama to polish our talents and skills.
Its developing, but I think its going to be great because there are already people discussing it.
Because the teaching head is excellent, teachers are very supportive, and the staff is also very good at working.

Not opting for the hostel, the college didnt have hostel facilities for students coming from other parts of the country

The admission process is not so tough according to me. You get into the college by one's merit, sport quota etc. The application form can be found on college website or there is administration office who provides such admission forms. There is no need to make any changes in admission process because it is not that hard.

The admission was simple and easy it is an online process everything will come from the college website. www.gnkhalsa.edu.in is the official website of my college. The admission fee is also online. First, we should fill out the form after filling out the form after fee days the fee method will come in the mail which we have given in the college.
