- For the Post Graduate programmes, the candidates must have a B.E. / B.Tech degree with relevant subjects and a valid CIPET JEE score card

Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology, Chennai is a Public College. CIPET was established in 1968 by the Government of India with the assistance of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and it is managed by the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, India.
