What are the medical criteria required to apply for the courses?

Candidates must be medically fit including eyesight and hearing as prescribed in the Merchant Shipping (Medical Examination) Rules, 2000, and eyesight up to (+ or -) 2.5 with no color blindness. The minimum height should be 157 centimeters.
