IMU Chennai Admission 2024
Indian Maritime University Chennai Admission 2024 is ongoing. Admission at IMU is done based on marks scored by the candidates in the Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET).
IMU CET Online Registration 2024
Candidates need to register for IMU CET online through the official registration portal available at the university website for admission to various UG and PG programmes offered by IMU and its affiliated institutes Application fee has to be submitted online through net-banking, credit/debit card. For all UG and PG programs (except BBA), the application fee for GEN/OBC candidates is INR 1000 (INR 700 in case of SC/ST candidates).
- For BBA (Logistics, Retailing and e-Commerce) Programme, the Registration Fee payable is INR 140 for candidates from SC/ST category and INR 200 for all others
Steps for filling IMU CET Online Application form
- Step 1: After the 'Basic Registration' i.e. once the candidate clicks on the 'Submit' button in the Basic Registration Page, the system will generate the Application Number and send it to the candidate by Email and SMS.
- Step 2: For subsequent logins, the candidate should use this system-generated Application Number as 'Login ID' and his/her Date of Birth as the 'Password'
- Step 3: In the 'Detailed Registration' section, students will have to fill up additional details such as Address for Correspondence, Educational Details, Preferred Choice of Exam Cities, etc. followed by uploading of relevant scanned documents and payment of CET Registration Fees
- Step 4: Upon successful online payment of Registration Fee, a receipt will be generated and student should take a print out of it for future correspondence
- Step 5: The candidate should note that the Service Charges / Payment Gateway Charges for making the Online Payment Transaction are to be borne by the candidate only.
- Step 6: If the Class 12/UG Degree Exam results are awaited at the time of Online Registration, the candidate may choose the 'Awaiting Results' option.

IMU Chennai Facilities
Indian Maritime University, Chennai campus offers modern facilities to students to cater to their needs. Following is a brief about the same:
- Library: There is a rich collection of more than 8000 books, 40 journals/ periodicals, projects, magazines, etc. IMU has one of the largest Maritime Libraries in the country.
