EWIT offers four-year-long undergraduate courses in Bachelor’s of Engineering (B.E) in six specializations i.e

EWIT Bangalore B.E Eligibility

The academic eligibility for admission is to pass in PUC or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and minimum 45% marks from a recognized board. 

EWIT Bangalore Selection Criteria

The selection of candidates is strictly done on the basis of the KCET/ COMEDK UGET/ Management Test. 

• 45% of the total B.E seats are filled through KEA counselling, 
• 30% of the seats by COMEDK counselling while the remaining 25% are Management seats to be filled through separate entrance test.
• Candidates who are a domicile of Karnataka for more than 7 years are eligible to apply as per KCET eligibility norms.
• COMEDK UGET exam is conducted for Karnataka and other states candidates.

The college offers a 3 year long full time MCA course. The candidates are selected on the basis of KPGCET/ Management exams. Refer the table given below to find more information on MCA admission.

EWIT Bangalore MCA Eligibility

The eligibility for admission to MCA program is a Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

EWT Bangalore Selection Criteria:

• For MCA, 80% of seats are reserved for admissions through KPGCET and remaining 20% are occupied through management quota.
• There is a relaxation of 5% for reserved category candidates in minimum eligibility requirement.

Karnataka-PGCET Cut-Off for MCA

EWT Bangalore offers MBA program at the Postgraduate level. The duration of the program is 2 years. The MBA program is offered in the following specializations:

• Finance
• Human Resources
• Marketing

EWIT Bangalore MBA Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. There is a relaxation of 5% for reserved category candidates in minimum eligibility requirement.

The eligibility required for admission to MCA program is a graduate degree with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

EWIT Bangalore MBA Selection Criteria

For Admission to MBA, candidates will be selected on the basis of a valid score in KPGCET/ KMAT/ Management exams.

In MBA courses, 80% of seats are reserved for admissions through KPGCET/GATE and the remaining 20% are occupied through management quota.

The institution also offers an M.E program at the postgraduate level for a duration of 2 years. The M.E program is offered in the following 7 specializations:

• Computer Science and Engineering
• Computer Network Engineering

A total of 18 seats are offered in each specialization of the M.E program.

EWIT Bangalore ME Eligibility

Candidates having passed B.E in relevant branch with 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for admission to ME program.

There is a relaxation of 5% for reserved category candidates in minimum eligibility requirement.

EWIT Bangalore ME Selection Criteria

Admission to the M.E program is conducted on the basis of GATE/ KPGCET entrance exams. 

In ME courses, 80% of seats are reserved for admissions through KPGCET/GATE and the remaining 20% are occupied through management quota.

Due to the profound research center at EWIT, it is duly recognized by VTU. The college offers Ph.D. in eight specializations.

The norms, eligibility and admissions regulations are as decided by VTU. Candidates for research programs are selected on the basis of VTU Research Eligibility Test followed by personal interview. The application has to be made online on the Ph.D. admission portal of Visvesvaraya Technology University website. EWIT Bangalore Ph.D. Eligibility

Following are the points covering the eligibility criteria of Ph.D. offered by EWIT, Bangalore:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology with a CGPA of 6.75 out of 10 or 55% in aggregate at the bachelor’s level or master’s level.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology or M.Sc. in Engineering with a CGPA of 7.75 out of 10 or minimum 70% in aggregate at bachelor’s level and have published research papers in journals or has patents to his/her name.
• M. Tech. degree while having successfully completed course work in first three semesters of study with a CGPA of 7.75 out of 10 or 70% marks in aggregate

Selection Criteria:

Admission to Ph.D program will be granted on the basis of the Entrance Test and Personal Interview conducted by VTU.
